I was thinking about getting into anthropology myself but got into mechaical enginering instead. Keep up the cool ass work, have you thought about making your way down to New Orleans, their is a large gutter punk group down here.

i read your “Pigs and Poop” entry or blog ( i don’t know what it should be referred as) and i really liked it and i think you brought up a lot of good arguments and ideas. personally i just started coming to thinking in this sort of manner, i think the lifestyles you mentioned are so interesting/intriguing. again great article it was awesome! and great photos as well.
As for the ” pigs and poop”..It’s the logo of a band based out of C.Squat, called PigShit Engine. Hence…the squatter’s symbol and the pig-shitting….I don’t know where the engine is,maybe inside the pig’s tomach and that’s why it’s leaping upwards…Who knows? People over analyze things way too much sometimes…But there’s your pigs and poop story!
Darci’s Comment: Yes, I know it was for PigShit Engine, thanks. Met some of the people in the band and discussed my work with them. They were all for it, and actually liked my analysis.
Hey Darci, long time no nothin’. I checked out all the photos and quotes. My brains tired from researching truth for hours, so I only read 1/2 the fieldnotes if that. Those quotes are some of the most intelligent statements I’ve ever read. I’m currently tryng to find my place in this world which I also don’t fit in. I still want to be part of a world of people though. I think their dissillusionment is smarter than being a lemming, for sure, but for me I think it’s somewhere in-between. I understand completely what they’re saing though. Your research and courage and action to get out there is impressive. I’m pleasantly shocked really. Anyway, it’s me, Nick… Nick double U A-ch iie tea em iie are ee. please contact me soon at Rockin_dead@hotmail.com soon, I have much more to say about (for I have much interest in) this article, as well as some info/ideas you might be interested in… man.. you did it.
hahaha, i was in new york when all this was going down.
